The henpecked son is a substance abuser of some type and has indeed learned helplessness with regard to the ability to think for himself! Thus he cannot become a good father and the concept of monotheism is needed for the two of them to be happy! It is a vicious circle whereby the son being a substance abuser only creates more offspring that are mentally defective. He looks on at the real men in our world in great envy and resentment of their accomplishments.
