Apple Pie Recipe 02 18 2014
This was the best Apple Pie that I have ever had in my life!
About 9 Empire Apples sliced thin (from New York)
1 cup of sugar
Pillsbury Pie Crust
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup of golden raisins Natures Best (from California)
Put butter on the pie tin
2 teaspoons of butter
Mix sugar cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and put that with sliced
thin apples and golden raisins in a pan and stirred it up good.
Butter a metal pie tin.
Cover the bottom and sides with the pie crust. Put the apple mix
in. Cover the top with pie crust and
sprinkle sugar on it. Dot the top of the
pie with the 2 teaspoons of butter.
At 350 degrees for about one hour, second lowest oven rack.
