I don't see how you can list that as an asset to count as collateral to get a loan for!

And this has indeed been a peeve of mine since I was a boy!

So you would loan more and more money to individuals so that they can build more and more factories which will have environmental liabilities far in excess of any profit they will ever make in their lives?

The buyer being responsible for the environmental liability?  That isn't how men think is it!  If you are not responsible for your own property, including its environment, how can you claim ownership to it?  How can you list it as an asset to get more loans from?  Doesn't it read a lot like a person who doesn't have the legal authority to make binding decisions or contracts for themselves.  And those people fall into two categories don't they!  1.  A drug user like a drunk driver etc.  2. And someone that was born mentally defective!

In order to get rid of number 2 first you have the difficult task of forming a human conscience in them.  So that is a paradigm!

It reads like a Confederacy to me!
