A vacuum cleaner where the suction is activated by a lever next to the end of the hose! This would save on electricity costs because the operator would only use electricity when "over dirt." In contrast to the switch being activated on and off on the top of the drum.
In fact I like that idea so much that all vacuums for cars should have it!
We are long past the age of the ground fault interrupter; aren't we?
How many people feel a little guilty for leaving the vacuum on when they are not actually using it but repositioning it?
