An article by Laurie Goodstein for the New York Times
You'll love this,
Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz of Louisville, Ky., the new president of the conference has a master's degree in social work, took care of his brother with Down syndrome and said the, "most important time" that he has ever spent was the 12 years he served as a pastor in a parish."
The tell is, he is not saying the most important time was the beauty of Gods love he experienced while taking care of that Down syndrome brother! He is not saying how it was through Gods love that he grew and matured as a human being from the experience of taking care of that Downs Syndrome brother. And above all after that experience he is not stating, "If I could only have one more year, a day an hour of the experience of taking care of that Downs Syndrome brother!
He is not saying that his experience and the gift of frustration that God presented him with validates the Catholic Churches Pro Life Stance!!!!!!
