Inventions Needed: Cord Belt and Broken Tape Measure Belt 10 21 2013

Inventions Needed: Cord Belt and Broken Tape Measure Belt 10 21 2013

Some of us have slipped disks in our backs and thick and wide belts seem to aggravate that by causing localized pressure.  So what would be needed would be a cord belt that has a simple but secure round snap clasp in front.  It could be made out of that silicon that is wrapped in a nylon sheath like those energy necklaces are.  And even if used for just a little while until the back problem is no longer a problem it would help.

And that brings up another point.  How many of you have had a tape measure spring just snap and it become worthless?  There ought to be a clasp that can be used to make a belt out of a strand of cut off tape measure.  The strand of tape measure is indeed very thin and not likely to aggravate your back.  And there could be some sheathing that could be added to it so that it does not cut away at the loops in your belt!
