Instead use your Keurig Coffee maker! Saves electricity! Put one quarter cup of oatmeal in a large coffee cup and sit it under the Keurig Coffee maker without a K-cup in the maker!
It works great. Let it stand a little while and then eat it. It is a little soupy but that is okay with me. I asked around on the internet and someone told me that they use 1/2 cup of oatmeal and it works great!
